The Distant

The distant people from afar wait
For the chance when they become men like us
Even though we have similar trait
We are separated by the gap of iniquity

There is hunger, depression, the unrelenting devil
That unleashes itself from hell
Crushing these people with a kevel
Destroying every aspect about them

We have tried to help the distant world
Giving them what we can and what we have
But the distant is a place of cruel
Nothing much seems to change for the brighter

Will there be a star in the future that will shine
And bring those in need out of their nightmare
Will everything be settled and fine
Or is it that we have hoped for too much

How is it that them and us, of the same kind
Are so much different only
In our lives, but not in our mind
Yet, they are still waiting

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
