The Dirty and Gritty

Most people need to see Magic in technicolor because they want to see all of the bright creatures like Brownies and Pixies. I don't want to see the façades that Brownies and Pixies present to the majority of Society. But I need to see the Dirtier and Grittier side of Magic because that is where I belong. The Truth of Magic is messier and more dangerous than People truly understand or want to know. I am one of those People who put their lives on line To make the World a safer place. And Society refuses to recognize our contribution. And I hate them for that.

Dark and bright -- there could be no existence without either. Are you using the word, magic, metaphorically or literally? Interesting deep thoughts, W. T. M. :-)

When I wrote it, I use the word, magic, literally because I'm Urban Fantasy fan. However, you brought an interesting thought about the word, magic, being metaphorically.

Society is hard to comprehend, great read, W Thomas, Welcome to Poetry soup, I hope you enjoy the community. Here, you will find friendly poets who enjoy supporting one another. I've recently started writing poetry again because I can remember the poems that I wrote in bed. Unfortunately, I can't get up in the middle of the night due having to Cerebral Palsy. Please explain your question about my poetic skills. Most of my poems would be considered to be angst (I think).
