The Directions

two otherwise rational people appear as if conflict had never got into the car with the both of em’ when they commenced this journey--- but that was when they both had it in the back of their heads that the other one knew the way to go--- hadn’t either of them learned what my own 7th grade math teacher beat into my skull?--- that you never should assume, because “when you assume, you make an ass out of you & me”--- certainly two grown adults must know when they are yelling at each other, just how much like 5 years olds, they are acting like? certainly when they look back on this particular fight, the way that they both carried on, might make them embarrassed… right? will they chalk it up to mutual experience? will they give each other a “time out?” will they scream until their throats are raw? will they split up because of it? oh, the drama… all because two idiots couldn’t double check, all because two people who consider the other “the one,” couldn’t take ten seconds to communicate that neither of the both of em’ had any clue as to wear it was that they were going.
