The Diminished Hexaverse of Women

Much like this poem,
women have been made
smaller over time:
speak less, don’t ask that,
cover up, unless

you’re with a man,
selling something
or on a screen.
As a mother

though don’t cry,
say that this
is hard work.

Girls' words?
Please just

stop.
