The Difference
Cut throat words that slipped off his tongue,
Lies so ridiculous, he thought he had won,
Love ignored, and forgave, and loved again,
Because those words defined his insecure man,
Waiting in silence, holding her tongue,
Because she knew the truth had already won,
Love Is grounded beyond feelings, because feelings are fickle,
They come and go as they please, but love stands to differ,
Love shows us truth, and doesn't walk away,
It gives us the option to stay, yet it always remains,
It brings out the best, and shows us the worst,
It is the only thing that matters the most on the earth,
