The Diabolical Face of Humankind

The diabolical face of humankind
might as well be that of the shark-looking grook
with a very large mouth and an extraterrestrial look;
he reads the thick magic spell books of wizards
trying to learn every imaginable trick and go wild...
turning helpless humans into lizards!

If I may give a word of advice this grook poem has an interesting imagination too it, but the message was a little on the ambiguous side for me. I wasn't quite sure what it was trying to teach me.
