The Devil Roams At Night

A faint light in the air
Moon arises on a smiling corpse
A warm heart with blood
running, still

Ash inside its mouth
Blowing to the closest ear
The devil roams at night
Waking up in pain
The seed blooming deep
No way to end this night
For the devil roams at night

The night drags for days
The words for months
Shelter burning down
By the smiling corpse
Shelter that was your shield
Blackened by the flames
Words last but a moment
But the devil's still burns

Coming out seems vague
Rebuilding seems less
Your will can be done
But the corspe you must leave
For the devil roams at night
