The Devil Can't Take What You Don't Give

The Devil Can't Take, What You Don't Give

Start do'n and stop try'n.
   Start laugh'n and stop cry'n.
Start liv'n and stop dy'n.
Come on baby, reach out to me momma, it's time to live.

The Devil Can't Take, What You Don't Give.
The Devil Can't Take, What We Don't Give.

Come on darl'n let's head for heav'n.
It's past our hour, and quarter to seven.
How can we make it if we don't start go'n?
Come on sugar, reach out to me momma, it's time to live.

Right now! it's our time to live.
The Devil can't take it if we don't give.
The Devil ain't steal'n, if we keep on giv'n
It's right now, honey! it's time for liv'n.
