The Devil and the Dove Part 33 Faithfulness

God stated, that its not success that's required for victory
Only the faithfulness in us that He desires to see
 
To be faithful, to be steadfast, resolute and stout
To be loyal, dedicated and committed without any doubt
To be like Joseph when Mary informed him of her situation
Pregnant by the Holy Spirit, talk about a complication
It was devastating, a nightmare that he couldn't wake up from
Catastrophic, traumatic Joseph probably felt completely undone
It was a fantastical story of which now he had to deal
But in the midst of a dream the truth was revealed
An angel of the Lord told Joseph what really went down
And because he was a just man 
The spirit of faith in him was found
And forgiveness became prevalent in his mind and heart
Once he realized it was a mission presented by God

Now with his belief in God Joseph came to see
That he and Mary were the chosen vessels 
To fulfill the prophesy
Becoming the first Christians in the world 
Simply because they believed
No evidence required true faithfulness
Perceived and achieved

If you allow your dreams to fulfill their purpose
In every aspect of your life
Liike Joseph because he trusted in God
He became the earthly father of Jesus the Christ
To be full of the Holy Spirit 
Enriched by the presence of the Dove
The fruit of the Spirit faithfulness to God
Who dwells in Heaven above
