The Desert

The Desert Holds Your Soul,
It is lost.
It is Drying Out.

Your Tears make the Earth Ache,
With a Longing Thirst for your Emotion,
Your Mind is The Desert Island.
You've Mistaken heat for Love,
It is Heat from Hatred.
And your Salt is Left Behind.

No Salt, No More.

For you can't Sweat out that Heavy Heart,
Unlike Tears the Want wont Leave your Body

So many people are like that desert on the inside or dried out concrete and are constantly in want of water and what they need is the Living Water...Great write on a deserving topic to be discussed..Sara
