The Descent of Man
Never give anything you don’t know a name.
Dress your mind slowly for the world is in a hurry.
‘Dragon Man’ is as old as your Auntie
a thousand eons removed.
Is he us, are you your auntie?
Time slips downward
and goes out of sight real quick.
Humanity is as old as muscle,
The most primitive hominid
is a child of a great civilization.
There is no ‘new world order',
no 'global society',
there is ‘dragon man’ pissing in the woods
trying to figure out where he belongs
in our history books.
