The Depths of Living
The solemn souls of men, come here to breathe, the Earthly air.
Then to sing the songs of life, to swirl and dance, in this suit of being.
With these borrowed eyes, we witness the drama, of life and death.
What a winding path we take, to feel the wind, gently brush our hair.
To fall into the depths of living, and spend our lives, loving and being loved.
There is no advantage, upon this world of men, for the gain is equal to the loss.
Man's mysterious benefactor, sends him here alone, to understand himself.
To understand the knowledge of good and evil, and the consequence of desire.
The chance to gain the wisdom, of how the darkness, brightens the sunlight.
How the man on the precipice, in that moment knows, what really matters!
