THE DEMON IN HER MIND

”Sometimes it's felt like I'm alone in the dark
In the world I created myself
This wall of confusion and certainty
From the thought that I can't be loved
I closed my eyes and I felt the pain
The past, I held on to it for too long”

”Now I hear the silence whispers
The thought, the words, the fears
It's all in my head
Sounding like a mad fellow
Feeding on my sad soul
Eating deep into my heart”

The demon she raised in her mind
It rejoiced at her predicament
She will never be loved; happy?
Stay silent as the waters
You stormy snow in her heart
Till she finds the light to shine again
The will to glow and bloom

”I will love again and be loved
Missing the new whispers that comfort my heart
My most sincere friend, peace
It found me and still the storm
Till every drop of rain is gone
Till the sun shines bright upon me
The voice, whispers of love, divine”
