The Delicate Cycle

The delicate cycle to wash with care
fragile things that washing may tear
velvet, fine linens and lingerie
safer to wash this way

For a lacy bra to a silk necktie
on the washing machine give delicate a try
lots of cold water and a low speed
are just what these fancy things need

For knits and chiffon
turn the delicate cycle on
even an electric blanket or two
the delicate cycle the one to use

But my boy with words of great care
for words of wisdom with you I share
the delicate cycle I wouldn't dare
use it to wash your underwear.
