The Debacle

The coversation
it gets heated
Full of speculation
Which is not needed
We are walking up and down
this colossal store
I hope you'll come around
before we find the front door
But our arguing, this fight
Takes us out into the night
Where we go at it like cubs
claiming the other doesn't have the right
You begin your long speech
And I listen
We sit down at the beach
But from your seat you have risen
Still going on and on
But then you finish a paragraph
And I realize for you i long
Then we both begin to laugh
It's true this debacle
Has brought us closer together
next time we won't let an obstacle
put us under the weather
