The Death of Innocence

On the day Innocence is born Will be the day people mourn Not because of her birth She is born with a curse As soon as her first breath Purity will see certain death Her weakness ignorance Suffers the consequence Influence waits to pounce To sway with every ounce Innocence gave it her best But today she was laid to rest. Oh no It wasn't about a death of a child but the death of innocence it self. That when we are born we are innocent but it doesn't last. But I guess you could see it as losing a child.
