The Death Comet
On the tail of Halley's comet
Is a land that's seldom seen
A place neither here nor there
For it's simply inbetween
A land of many treausres
Of things we thought were lost
It carries all our forgotten dreams
Each time our path is crossed
For only once in a lifetime
Most will see this comet's face
While some will see it maybe twice
As it journeys throughout space
Seventy-five years to travel the earth
In it's quest to steal our dreams
For once we've seen the comet's tail
Life's now shorter than it seems
So the next time you see the comet
Don't forget to look at its tail
You'll see the land of stolen dreams
Before your heart begins to fail
And when you die your dreams are seen
Before you take your final breath
So now you know the comet's true name
It's called the comet of death
