The Deafening Silence

A mute cacophony rings between my ears.
The silent dungeonous din of the pelting stone past.

And in that roaring, the hauntings come
and the black dog, waiting, salivating, silently saunters alongside the
specters and, heavy, blankets me in darkness.

Thank you Andrea. I remember an old metal garage from childhood - how loud it was with just raindrops
