Business compromise, business acumen, business survival and prosper. The meetings, those meetings.
We shook hands and smiled, then entered the room,
Professional at the round table of wood.
Five of us spoke, in a detailed discussion,
How to improve our shrewd business livelihood.
We each gave our proposal, the win and the win,
For our companies to live, endure and survive.
And we ended the meeting with smiles and spirit,
Knowing both of us would briskly thrive.
We had outlived our competitors, out weathered the storm,
Judiciously wrangled the sums.
We both stood tall, by the close of day,
Over dead companies still holding their guns.
