The Days Ahead

The room is dark and lonesome
Your absence leaves a bitter chill
As I walk by, I stop to glance
Your chair is empty, air is still
Counting down the days ahead
Till once again I see your smile
My heart grows fonder, softly longing
Tis unrequited all the while

Congrats on your winner. I hope the chair once again became occupied. Way to go. Sara

"Your chair is empty" - Gruesome, indeed. Beautifully depicted the scene. Congratulations!
