The Day You Left

The day you left, I was miserable.
The day you left, I was crying.
The day you left, I was questioning my worth.
You were my everything,
you promised to never leave me,
you promised to never hurt me.
You said you were sorry,
but that won’t take back,
the crack in my heart.
