The Day When My Laptop was out of Order

                                            My laptop screen has turned to a black slate,
                                             A window to the world sealed by harsh fate,
                                            With carved poems and projects out of reach,
                                                  My joy of the day taking a sad bleach.

                                            My heart sorely sinks down with nervous dread,
                                              With all my work trapped in the laptop`s head,
                                                 I check connections, click and press in vain,
                                                Only my hair pricks up with growing strains.

                                                     I dial numbers of the set workshop,
                                                      Apprise a folk of fate of my laptop;
                                                  I`m asked to bring the device for repair,
                                                 For two days without it, I`ll have to spare.

                                                   Parted I shall be from my closest friend,
                                                      Not able to glow until the weekend,
                                                    I feel lonely, abandoned, lost, and sad,
                                                Without the gadget, that made my life glad.

                                                     I linger alone, with my thoughts adrift,
                                                          Without my device, I effect a shift,
                                                      I am forced to sit, with paper and pen,
                                                    Waiting for my dear friend to shine again.
