The Day the World Went Away

Fire rains from the sky
Burning everything
You look up
Wondering why
God unleashed his hate
Wanting all to die
The present all gone
Everything went wrong
A dying child's horror song.
You stand silenced
Screaming in your mind
This is the day to end all days
This is the day the world went away.
