The Day the Sky Turned Blue

The day the sky turned blue
Was the day I fell in love with you

A smile and laugh is all it took
Your little nod and one sideways look

The waves look brighter in the light
The clouds became a whiter white

Branches dance softly in the breeze
And a thousand birds fill the trees

The bunnies in the yard did dance
as I fell into the your joyful glance

The oxygen in the air has increased
and all past pains have been released

My soul swung open like an evervescent door
and is curled around yours
forevermore
