The Day the Earth Stood Still

********************************************************************************

Truth is a mirror, here in Babylon....

Passing through the valley of Lasheol; curiosity and intrigue

Aneath the silver light as serenity embraces these visions

Roaming tears landscapes their cries, penetrating its night?!

Peering at peace amid bejeweled vestures so adorned in might

Tranquillities Angels sent from upon high to reap; heavens arrival ~

Setting the captives free and burning these scrolls marking history....

Spiritual realms and kingdoms left folding their tents; in what was!?

Thank you, John, for your kind comment on my sanctuary poem. From your poem, The Day the Earth Stood Still, I couldn't help but think of Ezekiel and the day when the sun will no shine her light until in the night - so well written and I love your skillful use of words. God bless, Maureen L.I.J.

When truth is found in a mirror we can't escape from it. It breathes serenity John, how well you give a feeling of peace to the reader.

the mirror reflects what we see, our image is included. an Indian friend told me not to spend to much time around mirrors, John speaks the truth, as always. Much respect. I walked in spiritually, it is like spiritual perpetrualism, why God does this I do not know. He loves the good and evel, and blesses both. so glad to serve Him.
