The Day I Met My Friend
Dedicated To Michelle Perry-Brooker
It was a cold winter’s day in January when I met my dear
friend Michelle
she made my day, as her warm smile lit up the darkness
of the room that was full of misery
and gloom,
With her cheery personality and the laughter
and happiness that she brings, sunshine on a rainy day
She makes a sad heart sing a with joyful cheer
wiping away the sorrow and the tears.
she brightens up every room like
a beautiful bouquet of flowers that are in bloom
on a warm summers day.
My friend Michelle is never too far away
as she remains close to my heart as
that is where the cheerful laughter
and happy smile always start.
