The Day I Met Jesus
I had been lost and lonely
For quite some time this year
The devil had filled my mind
With so much hurt and fear
Then the day came, when I met Jesus
My tears He wiped all away
He came into my life to stay
On that very cold winter day
He removed the pain, rejection, fear
Replaced with hope, love, faith, more
He said, "Put your trust in me now
For your life has now been restored."
Now, my eyes have been opened
Christ I see walking beside me
For His footprints next to mine
I definately can now see.
