The Day Began Hot and Humid
A bright sunny day
With some puffy clouds
They had images of faces
The temperature high
No birds in the sky
The squirrels were hiding
No one is outside
They were inside
With air conditioning
Having a co, drink
Just relaxing in the
cool air
Reading or answering mail
All of a sudden the sky
Is very dark the sun left
Grey color clouds appear
Getting darker even more
So dark the sky is black
The rain poured down quickly
The ground got soaked
It rained for several hours
Getting darker even more
So dark the sky is black

The ground got soaked
It rained for several hours
Then quickly as it began
The rain slowed down
The dark clouds cleared
In the sky sunshine appeared
The squirrels came out
Looking for food
The birds looking for worms
The grass looked brighter
Flowers taller and grass greener
