The Day After Christmas DD

Yippee, the day after Christmas is here. It is my favorite day of the whole year, always dawning a playtime atmosphere. I will brush my hair and also my teeth, but that is all routine will see from me. I refuse the December clean-up process, preferring we frolic in our Christmas mess. All love secured packs we unstrapped chaotically house spread like bright decor. May my pure memory of these days endure. All gifts are still newness and fun time business. Today home is a family wonderland fest. Pajamas stay on, we have no need to dress. I excite watching my children rediscover their Christmas gifts anew, one after the other. I treasure watching my family at play, making lifetime memories on this day. December days have great heart impact and I wish my family to keep such intact. I love this day after, it's my uplifting gift. Family harmony fills our home's air that hopefully the new year will share. In the kitchen are delicious bounties. Today we free graze from trays of yummies bound to healthy and sweet sate tummies. December doses produce love extract that I hope time never fades to subtract. May loved one's keep recall heart packed. In pjs, my family yearly prays all are blessed with a frolic day in their own December mess.

I echo Robert here, This is WONDERFUL and so playful, Caycay. I wholly agree with you . And if i had kids around I would say, Play on children. School starts back soon enough. Sure do hope you make the list. I entered an oldie on a similar contest someone did two years ago. No sense writing a new one (you know what I mean) Good luck with this charmer. SEVEN

Wonderful verses and I agree about not rushing to clean up. We've been known to leave the tree up until a few days after New Years (FOR OUR SON TO ENJOY)! This is a true pleasure to read and superbly crafted. Best of luck in the contest. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
