The Day After

The day after there's no chance to repent,
All my life on earth will be spent.
Eternity is staring me right in the face,
Will I find mercy, will I find Grace.

The day after I leave this earth behind,
There's no returning, there's no changing my mind.
Will I be happy over on the other shore?
Will I go to Heaven, and live for evermore?

The day after death comes to visit me,
Where will I spend my eternity?
Will I be walking down streets of purest gold?
Will I live in Heaven, and never grow old?
