The Dawn's Morning Kiss To This Day

"The Dawn's Morning Kiss To This Day"


          Slowly the night sky draws to a close.
               The stars hide themselves from the approaching light.
          Each in it's own way most definitely knows
                it's time to withdraw and remain out of sight!

          It's time for the change in the cosmos to occur,
                though the night sky provided it's awesome display!
          This heavenly transformation does seem to prefer,
              "The Dawn's Morning Kiss To This Day!"

          The moon being the light of the night sky,
                as it constantly waxes and wanes,
          instinctively knows it's time to say goodbye
                in this symphony of twilight refrains!

          A new "Hello" to all of life is arriving!
                One hears the tumultuous shout of "HOORAY!"
          Roosters crow, birds sing on this joyous arising
                of "The Dawn's Morning Kiss To This Day!"

          Even mankind is now so excited!
              "Carpe Diem!" - Seize the day can be heard!
          Everything again this morn is newly invited!
               Yesterday's things are now becoming blurred!

         "Oh!....What a beautiful sunrise!"
               It's become part of this glorious array!
          We give praise and do it 
              with a smile in the eyes....for 
         "The Dawn's Morning Kiss To This Day!"
