The Darkness Queen

I fool everyone with a fake smile a fake laugh, When all I want to do is lock myself up in the dark, To fight my demons on my own, To search through the darkness and find my thrown, I sit in my enchanted castle, I send my troops with a wave of my wand, To find my light and bring it home, To light my castle In its loving glow, But will my troops succeed And bring my knight In shining armor home, So he can fight, My shadows of doubts, My demons of fear, The darkness that surrounds me, Will he drop to he's knees and forgive me, for I am the darkness queen. written by Davina browne 2014
