The Darkness

A dark black alley, No street lights to be seen, The howling of the wind, Something feels to be lurking, Around the corners, Dark as could be, A misty fog appears, But strangely is shuttering, Ground moist and damp, Not sure how to pinpoint this, Except abnormal and cramped, No walls to be felt, Or anyone to be seen, How do I escape, This darkness, Of Misery, Closing my eyes, Hoping it to be a dream, Running and running, Still trapped in this scene, The mist get's heavier, As the coldness falls around me, A gentle whisper in my ear, Making my hairs quiver, Let me free, Let me free, Is all it says, Taking a slow deep breath, As it trembles inside you, Shuttering, Utmost inner fears, The darkness of this area, Is well beyong, Anything to compare...
