The Dark Side of Love

She sat,
sinking into the darkness
of gloom and sadness
He passed with a sudden glance
her eyes lit up
a faint smile appeared,
but slowly faded
A teardrop fell.

Very beautifully written Maryam... the ending is powerful and I agree with Mr. Brian Strand, it does have the feel of a haiku, there is a lovely gentle feeling to this. Thanks for your kind comments on "Invisible." :) Love, Amy
