The Dark Poet -
Go ahead sit there and watch
With hatred in your eye
Stare at me as I stare at you
All of us wanting me to die.
You call it justice for those I’ve killed
People that you cherished
To me, it’s a relief to be released
And finally left to perish.
You damn me to hell, as if it’s a spell
Not knowing it’s my desire
I will unite with the demons you spite
And frolic in their fire.
Why do you think I went on my spree
Extinguishing lives so randomly?
You think I’m mad to be so glad
To set my spirit free.
I knew, eventually you would capture me
And charge me with electricity
Don’t you see, I wouldn’t be free
Unless I enticed you to murder me.
So watch as the hood covers my face
Finally I’m free of this awful place
Watch my body wiggle and jump
My soul will leave it in a contorted lump.
And on my way to my demonic father
Feel the heat of my soul pass through
You think killing me will make you feel better?
It just brings out the devil in you.
