Ever since I was just a tiny girl,
I have really wished to dance and twirl;
at five years old I did ballet,
and off the dance floor I would stray;
but I sure was pretty when I would whirl.
I did lots of falling down and stumbling,
and could sure keep the audience laughing;
it was clear I had no talent,
but I was a spud deviant;
so next came jazz- I was great at hopping.
I loved it but was never very good,
the years have passed and I have left girlhood;
along the way I found Hip Hop,
and on the stage I still flip-flop;
crash, OUCH- never to be my livelihood.
