The Dance, the Song

Life is a dance. As the waves come in, I dance with the ocean with songs of God’s love in my head. On a passing cloud there floats a dream - a river of dreams – sweet waters! I love winter’s magic – the long first date; a huge surprise; a joyous time; the hush of Christmas past; a walk in the snow; utter tranquility - in the sun’s last glow. Chocolate kisses, a pink crystal dawn; a wonderful beautiful day; a Valentine wedding; vow to my beloved; winter’s blanket – as it glistens; winter loving! To feel - raindrops falling; the hope of bliss; a season’s dance; a spring romance; spring’s rhapsody; spring’s muse; meadowlarks, the marigold – in a field of gold; in a hidden garden – the bluest rose! Red sun; red moon; a summer reverie; beyond a blue bay – breathtaking, summer splendor as sunset spills over; butterfly kisses; whispers of love; midnight romance; my galloping heart; rocking into night – with joy overflowing - an encounter of the once in a lifetime! Autumn’s breath; the autumn’s breeze; the lover wind; the waltz of the leaves; to blossom gold – beneath October’s sky; true love – in an autumn’s kiss; old longings – not to be forgotten; if I let my mind meander. . . the fleeting ghost of you! The gilded mountain sea – when hope shines out; the hues that visit me: ordinary orange, green, bright beautiful red; unbearable beauty in blue; a day’s purple adieu; waterfall wishes on stars with no strings; friendship – a comforting thing; gratitude, compassion; the universe and more! This dream called life – a poet’s happy dream; a poet’s heaven; life’s meaning; what love is – the sweetest song! July 8, 2019 Entire poem is composed only of titles of my own poems per request of Charles messina for his Collaboration Of Your Titles Poetry Contest (The titles are all separated by either commas, hypens, periods or line breaks) This was fun!

Absolutely wonderful, to take titles of your poems and then place them so that each line makes cohesive sense. Magical. Oh, I see that a title for your poems is essential for more than one reason.

Wow, this is amazing, Andrea, that you could write a whole poem using nothing but titles of other poems you have written, I think I counted 81. But then you do have almost 3,000 to chose from. Nicely done my friend, I'm impressed. John
