The Dance

Awaken summers child to hearts becoming born of freedom, smiles, and laughter given unto sin of decadence and desire the nights were young here and now was love as the sea seeks the sand- The day as beautiful prose that which I remember when you took my hand amber kisses like dewdrops upon the roses this is the song to which I dance each day that carries me wherein the music I no longer hear- Spent memories my only friend and I find my love story lost among the stars How I wish I could have one last dance- Let the music flood my soul with divinity and purpose but let it not be as vapors let it always be as living water that I may drink and thirst no more-
