Nice haiku; it leaves much to the imagination. The thing I have trouble with is whether the person or creature being addressed is flying toward or away from the pond. What it is makes a big difference; (bigger or smaller than the dragon if it is malicious). Very imaginative! Perhaps a form with more word space would make an amazing poem.
