"The Daily Troubles"



Put on pause -

paws like a dog
begging for 
some scraps
that loyalty matters

Dreams wake up
and all the other 
broken hearts
laugh

Love is 
a two up 
making sense 
of Scrabble

You offer a 
kick start
coffee for 
a heart that is tired

Love is 
the receiving
battle 

Warriors wanting 
naked kisses
blue stroked 
and kilted

four drawn
and quartered

You
Braveheart

Treading water …

New languages.

Dreams wake up
and all the other 
broken hearts
laugh
