The Curve

Mitigate to stagnate What have we become Fear for fear's sake Are we protected in our cocoon We are isolated Do we hear the voices of the dead Do we mourn in isolation All die alone No loved ones near Just sterile isolation The cry of the soul is blocked by the hum of machines What have we become What have we lost Curves and daily numbers of the dead No humanity Faceless in isolation Just a number for the daily briefing
