The Culmination
Day wanes as
evening shadow blend;
fireflys dance.
A blessed evening to
sit and rest.
Jaded memories--
faded and reborn in the telling.
Fireflys dance and I am content to sigh;
to sit and wait for the ice cream
still yet to come.
I close my eyes for a quck nap,
and I am no more.
