The Cross Before Me… The World Behind Me!
The cross before me… The world behind me.
Wherever I go, God’s love will find me!
May the work of the cross be what motivates me…
Each day, may Christ’ compassion fill me!
May the message of the cross speak loud and clear…
Christ is always with me! I’ve nothing to fear!
May it’s message of mercy and grace speak thru my living.
May Christ be honored by a heart
of thanksgiving!
If I’m looking to the cross, I’ve no reason to look back.
The blood of Jesus will protect me
from Satan’s attacks.
If I put my trust and faith in the cross, and it’s meaning.
The power of the cross is what I’ll be receiving!
May the cross remind me to read God’s word each day.
It’s one thing to listen to him.
It’s another to obey.
Thank you Lord for the work you’ve done and want to do.
May I be convicted to take my cross and follow you!
The cross reminds me to give Jesus my every burden.
It speaks to my heart, that his faithfulness is certain.
May the cross of Christ speak peace
and freedom today!
And be a reminder to touch me,
in what I do and say!
