The Cross
"A cross to bear,"
as the saying goes,
a good way to look
at all of our woes...
I think of a man
who paid the ultimate price,
and saved us from our sins -
we must now think twice...
How can we ever repay
such a life-laden debt,
if we are not ready
to repent just yet?...
We need that cross
to remind us all,
that in the end
we won't take the fall.
