The Croon of Nature

You have to listen so hard to hear "the silent song of the sighing breeze." Go sit outdoors and then persevere. Keep listening. Focus on the trees! The song is very soft, like the rustling of leaves from trees' many limbs hanging. You need to be far from the bustling of humankind’s banging and clanging. Sit in nature and be in its hush. If it’s night, crickets may be heard. Magic happens when a soft wind’s rush disturbs trees’ leaves. You might hear a bird! When one or more birds join in, how sweet are the sounds of creatures’ gentle tune. Hear the symphony with joy replete. Sighing breeze and Mother Nature croon! 1

You always hear that song you speak of, Andrea--when amid nature, mindfully.

Nature alone provides the best sounds, but the sound of silence is the best. Yet here am I, alone, no wife only the fan churns. It's already too hot. A beautiful poem. Hugs.
