The Crime of Immortality
The Crime of Immortality
I am weary of the endless finite that never ends,
of your blind sight that illuminates the darkness with eyes without pupils,
the innocent crime for which I was born guilty of existence,
so that your love may not die forever young, forever old of centuries!
I baptized my sorrow with the name of the azure that falls upward,
with tears of bitter cream that sweeten the open wound,
your mute smile screams in silence humming unseen songs,
let us be to each other the echo that speaks before the cry!
Giving life at the beginning my morgue of mortal man,
I will die gathering withered flowers from the garden of frozen time,
the springs of autumns I will undress them all at once,
silent words rustling to the absent present that doesn't come always arriving!
Delighting with pleasant pain the god hidden in the setting light,
after your erased icon, noble young lady of Autumn-Spring,
to death the endless rest of the dissolution of our being,
in the ordered chaos of the cosmos being born dying in the void!
I am weary of the endless limited, of your blind sight that blinds,
the sacred crime for which I was born to die not dying,
so that your love may not die forever virgin aged freshly,
in the azure of sorrow baptized with tears of sweet-bitter cream!
Our echo speaks before voice in the morgue of mortal man,
gathering flowers that are born dying in the springs of autumns,
the silent words rustle to the future present delighting the hidden god,
after your icon that disappears appearing, noble lady of All-the-Seasons!
