The Crew

A crew, team effort workers on the job. Sometimes a crew is a select few maybe a bunch of snobs. Another type of crew is aboard a ship. Maintaining cleaning a deck so no one slips. Another meaning of a crew a bunch of gang members. And oil derrick drilling for black gold in late December. A crew could be a diner, with a waitress, cook, and dishwasher. Feeding food to hungry customers. Remembering a long time ago, Jesus himself had a crew. Preaching, teaching God’s laws, His Apostles understood and knew. That the Savior was the Son of God, this crew made a lasting impact. They knew they were put here by the Father; it was their duty to act. What an inspiring bunch faithfully serving the Father with a given gift. To show the way to carnal man and give mankind a Spiritual lift. The legions of Caesar powerful organized were a well oiled machine and crew. What they saw in their day they didn’t recognize crucifying Him they never knew. Scourging, whipping, spitting this crew assassinated the Fathers Son. Transgressing in this sin, the Romans did the will of Satan, and Satan thought he’d won. Jesus, who preached “love”, forgave this unforgiving evil crew. His blood, His impact, changed the world forever God the Father was there and He knew. All the workers, all the crews never matched Jesus’ Apostles His Christian crew. They taught well after His death just for me and for you. Our Father has His crew’s minister’s men of God who teach to this day. Been that way from long ago this Christian crew remains strong in Jesus and we continue to believe in Faith, and we still stand up and pray.
