The Courtship of Larissa

A gentle look...
From a girl , so fair
Everything she touched,
she loved too

A chance meeting,
in the walled garden
Filled with Sunfire roses
and foxglove
A knight, fell in love

The beauty of a Sunfire rose
laid at her door
A girl borne on a South Wind
Everything she touched
Everything she saw
She loved too

It was the beauty of nature,
that drew them to the walled garden
A noble Knight
With the kindest blue eyes
Saw Larissa, in the sunlight

A touch of finger tips
A sunset of gilded pink
A kiss upon her lips

A Sunfire rose
Everyday laid at her door
To a woman...
Who touched the heart of a knight
Whom she loved
To a knight...
Who saw a beautiful woman
Standing in sunlight

Larissa
Borne on a southwind
Warm and sweet
A girl, so fair
A girl, so pretty
Everything she touched
She loved too
