The Courtship

he walked with me for miles.
talked with me for ever.
kissed me with sincerity.
held me till I felt strong.
surrounded me with loving
and protective arms 
and with much tenderness
left himself burried 
deep within my heart.



I wrote this many years ago 
we just won't say how many.

Just a shout-out post to all Terry Lee's friends and followers: My Dear sister Terry Lee made 'the Transition' at the end of January 2017. In an effort to preserve her work; I am reviewing all her poems. As I scan through your comments, I discover aspects of Terry I had not been in touch with; and I appreciate your compassionate, kind words; gifts that have facilitated my own comfort. Terry, this time..one more before i really head out...lol.. I promise... I would like to think you are talking about God, but i can be wrong.. I mean the best relationship we can ever have is with God, and i for one know how buried he is inside me STILL" I like the beginning Courtship you described with one single person. You are surrounded by all the proper conducts that will protect you when you fall, or are standing tall. A very appreciated, Thanks for the post to .
