The Cosmic Puzzle

The Cosmic Puzzle

There is a situation in the cosmos,
seeping into things,
all-pervading, life-invading
disillusionment it brings.

Some may call it Truth, some say
destiny, but facts are scattered
everywhere, as far as the
inner eye can see.

Now one may think this occurrance
would be the grandest plan,
the greatest thing to happen
in our vital little time span,

but there's a flaw in the cosmic scheme,
things aren't always what they seem:

These Truths are not connected,
they are spread out and protected by
the fact that they are mixed up
like giant puzzle pieces.

The amazement never ceases.
For who can see the Truth within
the cosmic game when the
answer and the question are
one and the same?...
